E. Mikeladze Tbilisi Central Music School is special institution with 12-year complete music- education under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and Monuments Protection of Georgia. It aims to give platform to young generation of music professionals.

Music educational program of school is designed to provide 12-year special continues studies in 3 stages:

I-VI  Elementary music education level

VII-IX  basic music education level

X-XII  middle-special education level 

After the completion of the full course, the students are rewarded with “Attestat” issued by the Ministry of Culture and Monuments Protection of Georgia and the Certificate of the school in case of suspending studies at any stage.

The school has two sectors: Free (under state-budget) and paid courses. Both sectors aim to provide variety of music programs.

Free courses:

Based on the major goals of the school, the free education is conditional to those students who are oriented to obtain music profession as the specialty and are gifted with due skills, abilities and will study specially designed programs in the following departments: piano, orchestra string, orchestra wind and percussion instruments, vocal, choir-conducting and theoretical-composition. 

The aim of the free education is to facilitate in extensive development of the potential and professional skills of the students, support their professional growth and their performing carrier, strengthen concert-performing experience and present them to the national or international music world. The school continuously works to provide such music education, which responds to contemporary requirements.

Paid Courses

The aim of the paid courses is to provide liberal music classes and meet the interests and abilities of those students who wish to obtain high-level general music education.

In comparison with the fee course, the teaching methodology of paid education includes liberal programs, which are oriented to meet the students’ potential. Aim f the paid course is to enrich students with the basic music education including learning to play special instruments, read simple music pieces, and obtain overall information of the music literature and music theoretical knowledge. 

Paid Sector has the following departments:

Piano, orchestra string, orchestra wind and percussion instruments, Vocal, Choir-Conducting, Theoretical-Composition and Popular Music. 

Moreover, the students can obtain complete course along with theoretical subjects, or learn only special subject without theory upon their desire.

In case of high grades and skills as appropriate, the student on paid sector can continue education to free of charge and move to the state-budgetary sector through competition and enrolment exams.

1-6 classes-400 GEL annual

Payment: the first semester, at the end of September- 200 GEL

Second Semester –End of January -200 GEL

 

7-9 classes- 550 GEL Annual

Payment: the First Semester, at the end of September -275 GEL

The Second Semester, at the end of January- 275 GEL

 

10-12 classes- 700 GEL Annual

Payment: the First Semester, at the end of September -350 GEL

The Second Semester, at the end of January- 350 GEL

 

12 class- preparation 1200 Annual

Payment: the First Semester, at the end of September -600 GEL

The Second Semester, at the end of January- 600 GEL

 

Only special subject without theory

1-6 classes- 350 GEL Annual

Payment: the First Semester, at the end of September -175 GEL

7-9 classes- 450 GEL Annual
